Welcome to OneLead, a product of Alexium! We understand the importance of your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App") and our associated web application (the "Web Portal") (collectively, the "Service"). OneLead is designed to facilitate the exchange of contact information and act as a lead management system for sales professionals and their customers.

OneLead collects the following types of information, which may be provided directly by the user or received from third-party sources (leads):

  • Important Note: OneLead does not collect any financial information, credit card details, vehicle valuation data, or other sensitive payment information from customers or users. Payments for the Service subscription are handled separately and outside of the App and Web Portal.


    3. How We Use Your Information

    We collect, hold, use, and disclose your personal information only to the extent that we need to in order to operate our Service and where required or permitted by Australian law.

    We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Lead Management and Facilitation: To enable the secure exchange of contact details and to provide the business with a centralised system to manage, track, and follow up on customer leads received from various sources (App, Web Portal, Meta, etc.).
  • Service Functionality: To provide and maintain the full functionality of the OneLead App and the Web Portal.
  • Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries and provide technical assistance and customer support.
  • Improvement and Development: To analyse usage data, research user experience, and continually improve the Service's features and performance.
  • Communication: To communicate with you (user) about system updates, service announcements, and important notices.
  • Data Ownership and Compliance: To securely store and manage customer data on behalf of, and as the property of, the business that the user is employed by, ensuring data is handled in accordance with their internal policies and relevant Australian privacy laws.

  • 4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

    We may disclose your information in the following circumstances:

  • With Businesses (Our Clients): Contact information and lead data collected through the Service are owned by and shared with the specific business (our client) that the user is affiliated with. We act as a data processor on their behalf.
  • Service Providers: We may share information with third-party service providers and solution partners (e.g., hosting providers, IT support, analytics services) who assist us in operating the Service. These authorised organisations are provided access only as necessary to perform their functions and are contractually obligated to protect your information.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets of Alexium or the OneLead product, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
  • With your Consent: If you have given us prior explicit consent to share your information with any other third party.
  • Overseas Disclosure: We will notify you in advance if we are likely to disclose personal information to overseas recipients and, if practicable, the relevant countries in which they are located. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that the overseas recipient handles the personal information in accordance with the APPs.

  • 5. Data Security

    We implement reasonable technical and administrative security measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, use, modification, disclosure, or loss. These measures include data encryption, secure storage, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


    6. Data Retention

    We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as required by our clients (the business) and permitted by law. Contact and lead information is retained according to the operational and legal retention policy of the business that the user is employed by. Once data is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.


    7. Your Rights (Access and Correction)

    You have the right to access and correct the personal information we hold about you.

  • Access: Request access to the personal information we hold about you. We will respond to your request within a reasonable time and will take reasonable steps to provide you with the data.
  • Correction: Request correction of any inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date personal information. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure any personal data we collect, use or disclose is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Deletion (Right to be Forgotten): Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual obligations.

    OneLead is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete it.

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the Effective Date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
